Ze Internet Connection

So… had big plans to update this thing. But… considering how slow my internet connection is, updating becomes a little problematic. I do however send out a mass email off and on so if you want to be on that list give me a shout ( storm[at]sairaq.org ). I’m not quite sure who reads this blog anymore either. Most of the photographs are on Facebook so if you’re someone I know, let me know and I’ll add you there.

Free. Day 1.

Movie: Iron Man

I think the RX 8 just says it all. Oh and the suit. Man the suit. This is so my kinda movie. I really didn’t expect Robert Downey Jr. to be able to carry this off. He was always more of the funny guy.

Hint: Marvel has somewhat tied two movies together this summer; Iron Man and Ed Norton’s The Incredible Hulk. Expect to see Downey in June again.

In photography, there are no words, only symmetry and emotion, There is a meditation to the still image however, that comes from stopping to look at the geometry of the world with all of our senses in order to capture a bit of it and confine it to one small space in recognition of a personal point of view. Photography casts aside the clutter, the commotion, and the noise of the world, in order to keep its form, shape and substance true to itself and in one complete thought.

Larry Tomwell quoted in Walrus’s Eye of the Storm
