Translation of a song. Wasnt my idea but… the lyrics are pretty. Am only putting in two seperate verses, mainly because I think Khaled mixed French and Arabic which is why the online translation is screwed up for the other verses:
“Ayesha” by Khaled (translated from french)
I will go where your breath takes us In the ivoire countries and of bne.
I will obliterate your tears, your pain.
Nothing is not too beautiful for a so beautiful one.
I will say the words of the poems.
I will play the musics of the sky.
I will take the rays of the sun to light up your eyes oh queen.

“This is to inform you Ms. Amna that Saira shall require the home computer today from 8:00 p.m. onwards. There are no buts or excuses. I HAVE to do an assignment and there isn’t any place in the lab. Thankyou kindly.

your esteemed “older” sister
Saira”

Warning: My diary entries are starting to seem like a daily log so… you’ll probably find them boring. I guess coz its mostly for me I write.
Slept till 1 p.m. And then walked to Uni. Absolutely gorgeous day. Wind but warm not hot.
Played squash for like half an hour and well have the arm strength, just running continuously seems to give me a migraine. Then badmington and ate like a … Tsk tsk.
Tonight was the EFSA fashion show. Pretty good. Theme was Music Videos so the dancing was fairly good. Breakdancing… Kayta, Oliver n the twins. Man the twins… thats called synchronization. Anth!
Other notable performances would be Caribbran Connections on “Get Busy” by Sean Paul. The Indian/Belly dancing on “Addictive” by Truth Hurts wasnt too bad either and have realised “Like I love you” by Justin Timberlake is a pretty rockin song.
CS club results still not out and moi getting impatient. Was supposed to go to the UCS formal tonight.. but nah.. I’d rather play badmington. Too much effot, dressing up that is.
What else.. not much so therefore I shall make my exit.

I am happy. So very much so. For two reasons.
1. An old friend wrote
2. Completely unexpected:
“Saira

I pray to God that I never be ungrateful again, even unintentionally.
P.S: This is by no means intended as a boast. Am sharing it with those I hold dear and eitherways reading a diary is entirely a matter of choice. me grins.

Usual. Election commitee meeting which went on for like 5 hrs. Resulted in the same decision as before. I kept my cool.
Missed a quiz coz I knew I knew nothing anyway. Also saw a bit of Monsoon Wedding ISAE was showing on the Big Screen. Got up after awhile coz was reminding me too much of back home and therefore I was going soppy.
Decided to take the day off (although cant afford to, but really… have to prevent a nervous breakdown) and went off to Kipling to chill with friends. Went to a friends highschool and discussed war with his ex-chemistry teacher. Then proceeded to Sherway Gardens (most expensive mall in Toronto and therefore the most clean). Spent twenty minutes in the men’s perfume isle (dont ask me, it was the guys. I cant tell Hugo from Tommy). However found an old fav. of mine which havnt seen around for yrs. Splendour (Elizabeth Arden, women’s). No money so couldnt get it and have half a bottle of Red Door left so will let it sit for awhile.
Also around half an hour in a bookshop. Note to myself: Should buy the Red Hat Linux Bible, Guitar for Dummies and the Self Confessional by Jann Arden, looked interesting.
Then pondered as to eat here or to eat elsewhere or not to eat at all. I however refrained from depleting my already depleted pocket. And eitherways had already had lunch. he he. Then went to Swiss Chalet for desert. Ahh.. a foot long sundae, vertical obviously. :D.
Question of the day: “To marry outside your culture or not? Muslim being a prereq. to make it simple”. Also “Better to buy a Mazda and enjoy the drive or buy something reliable which will last longer?” or “How long does Saira sit on the bench during Basketball games?”. grrrrrrrrrrr.
For the past four hrs now, have been typing up financial budgets and volunteer forms. Am going wonky.
take care all
