The Return of Merlin
by Deepak Chopra

Very dramatic. A little overly so at times. However moves continously with the occasional contemplatetion on life as an illusion. Again reminded me of The Chronicles of Narnia although for reasons different from my previous recent observation. The concept of worlds within worlds and the past, present and future existing simultaneously. Actually come to think of it I think that was probably a flight of fancy on the part of C.S. Lewis. I mean, considering his books were in a sense supposed to mimic biblical teachings, the concept of reincarnation definately did not come into play. I think he was trying to aim for the afterlife and ended up with several worlds. Sort of a meandering.

Eitherways as far as this book goes, sort of like The Alchemist except more complicated and the woman in the green felt hat kept reminded me of Prof. Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter. Chopra’s take on what alchemy is and weaving the holy grail and chalice into it somehow.

Currently have restarted The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Feel like kicking myself for not picking it up earlier. Tis one of those books which makes u laugh out loud and very obvious British humour. Ah the sarcasm. I love sarcasm. A cross between watching Spaceballs and reading Catch 22.

Which reminds me DVDs I’d like to own (psst.. dont have a DVD player but why should that stop me. grin):

-Spaceballs
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-Forest Gump
-Mary Poppins
-Ice Age
-Shrek 2
….

In other news…. apparently the biggest topics these days are Pitbull ban, Barbie’s makeover and a third one I forgot because I was two days late in writing in this post. Tough luck.
