I wrote a post on photography in Pakistan some time back and one of the featured photographers was Ali Khurshid. The big news is that he got featured in the TIME Person of the Year issue. They didnt do a specific person this year. Just highlighted some interesting folks. I’m still a little speechless since I only came across him around a year back but he thoroughly deserves this recognition. Just thought I’d share this info.
yes i totally agree i was surprised to see his pic but more then suprised I was happy that finally we get some highlight
yeah and his being there has sparked a sudden interest in people to photograph karachi apparently. every time i search flickr for pics, the number seems to have grown by more than i expected it to

oh wow. i totally want that second picture blown up, framed, and hung in my home.
