Mary had a little lamb; its fleece was Polartec 200 (thanks to gene splicing, a diet of force-fed petrochemical supplements, and regular dips in an advanced surface fusion polymer), which had the fortunate side effect of rendering it inedible, unlike that other Mary’s organic lamb which misbehaved at school and wound up in a lovely Moroccan stew with dried apricots and couscous.

I went primarily due to this sumptuous photograph on the left and was satisfied. Andrew and I tried out the Summerlicious menu which wasn’t all that bad collectively speaking. The salad with goat cheese was good. However the strip steak was beyond awful. Never ever again. Andrew fared better Haven’t tried the crepes though so might head back there eventually.

Too expensive to go to other than for cheaper promotions. Food was good though. Well made as one would expect from any high end restaurant. Cantaloupe and smoked chicken salad was perfect and I’m usually not big on fruit in my everyday salad. I loved my roasted strip loin and the panacotta was great too. Mark also has his review over at lapasa.net although he did order the exact opposite of everything I ordered with the exception of the panacotta. : )

Blue Hole in Belize [via digg]:

For all the practical purposes the over 400-foot depth makes the Blue Hole a bottomless pit. The walls are sheer from the surface until a depth of approximately 110 feet where you will begin to encounter stalactite formtions which actually angle back, allowing you to dive underneath monstrous overhangs. Hovering amongst the stalactites, you can’t help but feel humbled by the knowledge that the massive formation before you once stood high and dry above the surface of the sea eons ago.
