Utopie: I can’t quite remember why I had this saved. The paintings are I believe depictions of what the year 2000 was supposed to be like through the eyes of mid 20th century artist.
(I have no bloody clue why I had this definition in the temp post in the first place and what it was supposed to be linked to):
“Uchronia refers to a hypothetical time period of our world, in contrast to fictional lands or worlds. A concept similar to alternate history but different in the manner that uchronic times are not easily defined (mainly placed in some distant point near prehistory), reminiscent of a ‘Conworld’.”

Changes:
– The sidebar on the right leads to my shared items from Google Reader. So instead of waiting for eons for me to post stuff, people can just head there and see what I would have posted IF I wasn’t so negligent of this blog. Neat eh? Oh and you can also subscribe to the feed if you use a reader as well. Posts tend to overlap with other feeds occasionally but considering I don’t subscribe to Digg or Boing Boing it might still be somewhat distinct. The reason for non-subscription is that they just have too much stuff to wade through on a daily basis. I prefer just going to their websites every other week.
– I removed the Upcoming.org badge since I’ve started using Google Calendar instead. You can find all Events in Toronto under My Lists in the sidebar on the right.
