Koodo: Unable to send text messages

I finally managed to resolve my text messaging issue so thought I’d share it here: Provider: Koodo Phone: Motorola W385 Issue: Could not send text messages. Was able to receive. Error message “Failed to send” Resolution: 1. Dial *22803 2. Select 1 for English 3. Select 2 for upgrade PRL (Preferred Roaming List) Alternate Resolution: I didn’t try this but apparently if you know your Service Code you can go to: Koodo Programming Instructions for the W385

    thank you SO MUCH! i got a motorola w385 with koodo and had the same problem! I couldn’t send text messages, but i could receive them! that’s sweet the *22803 reprogram/reactivation number totally works to reset the phone!

    Thanks, this worked for me too! I have no idea why there was the issue in the first place, but this resolved it, so thank you.

    I thought at first that Koodo was being vindictively vengeful about a late payment, but found nothing about this kind of punishment on their website. Glad to see they’re not that immature…haha.
